I offer many choices for my clients in the form of natural tools that are compatible with homeopathic remedies. I give information about such tools on an individual basis, based on client’s needs. In homeopathy, they are called adjunctive therapeutics or an adjuvant.
WHAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF AN ADJUNCTIVE THERAPEUTIC?
An adjunct could be in the form of a nutritional supplement, an herbal tincture, a bio-chemic cell salt, a homeopathic remedy in low potency, a plant stem cell (gemmotherapy), flower essence or an exercise. Sometimes I refer clients to another modality that will help speed healing and relief of symptoms.
HOW LONG DOES A CLIENT TAKE A SUPPLEMENTAL
It is suggested that a client takes a particular supplement or adjunct for only as long as necessary. It is not considered something that is to be taken long term.
NOT ALL BRANDS ARE CREATED EQUAL
Sometimes I suggest certain brands. Other times I leave it up to the client to choose the brand. However, when I suggest a brand, I do so from a perspective of studied knowledge. For example, some calcium supplements are difficult to digest and others are easily assimilated by the system.
Over the counter brands are generally not as potent as professional grade brands. This is true for homeopathic remedies as well as supplements. Purity and consistency are not easy to maintain when products are mass produced. Even if a brand is both available over the counter and under a professional label there are differences in quality and potency.
New research brings to question the efficacy of homeopathic remedies packaged in plastic containers. It seems that remedy potency is longer lasting when the product is packaged in glass containers.
