Since Myra and I have been working together, I am free of all my medications. I no longer take statins, estrogen and asthma medication. Myra is very supportive in this process. She is always there when I need to talk.
I have chronic bronchial asthma. I was severely ill. I had digestion problems, I felt faint a lot and my lungs were below 30% of normal. Better Sleep
Your sleep remedy is a God-send. My son went to sleep last night in 10 minutes. I sprayed it on his blanket that he holds all the time and placed the blanket on my shoulder. He leaned his head on my shoulder and held his blanket. Within 10 minutes, he was asleep on my shoulder. I waited until he was in a deep sleep and placed him into his crib. Hurray for homeopathy! My 2-year old had started constitutional care about a month before he developed a cough while visiting his grandparents. To help him sleep better, they rubbed an mentholated over-the-counter medication on his chest. When he came home, he would cry VERY loudly and become frantic. When Myra Nissen first started telling me about Metabolic Balance I was interested in trying it for my general health and well-being. I have been on my Metabolic Balance nutrition plan for almost 6 months now and the results have been amazing. Not only have I developed a new appreciation for food and preparing healthy, nutritious meals, but I’m amazed by the benefits to my over-all health. For as long as I can remember I have had chronic cold feet. One month after starting Metabolic Balance my feet no longer felt cold and kept me awake at night. I don’t have mood swings and cravings like I used to between meals and I always feel satisfied by the foods on my plan. I liked the first 2 day cleanse on Metabolic Balance, because I ate cabbage cooked until firm with a little salt. I found it tasty and satisfying. Nothing has been hard for me on the program. The power of Metabolic Balance is amazing…I just got back from a culinary trip to Italy. Going off plan definitely was hard and stressful. The morning after we returned I weighed myself and much to my surprise, I only gained 1.4 pounds. I was immediately back on plan and have since lost the 1.4 plus another extra pound! After just 6 weeks on metabolic balance, my naturopath said my inflammation markers are normal.
Since starting metabolic balance I am more conscientious of my meals. The awareness and need to prepare meals thoughtfully actually saves me time and money. I have been on the MB plan for probably 4 months now. It’s definitely gotten easier as I stuck with it and Myra has been an excellent coach! My weight is down to 132 lbs – I weighed 148 when I started. So I am looking forward to getting into my stored summer clothing that I was dreading I might need to discard!
Last two Iyengar Yoga classes I handled Downward Dog better than ever – being lighter I didn’t get shaky and stayed up quite easily!! Also learned that when Ii do feel shaky, I need to imbibe more water. I hardly feel thirsty – ever, but Myra figured out how much water I need, and I am making sure I get it, and the shakiness is diminishing.
I also like to have a plan to go to, and it’s really quite easy to stick to it – less thinking about what to make. My husband sometimes eats with me, but also I buy what he likes and he has choices – so all in all, this phase two has not been that hard. I heartily recommend this. I am delighted with the 21 lbs weight loss – my summer clothes should fit!
Today, I had my first facial [and leg waxing] in several months. My aesthetician has always said that my skin was too dry, despite creams I use twice daily. It never felt dry to me. Today, now that I am on the Metabolic Balance® program and have upped my water intake considerably, she told me for the first time that now my skin is no longer dry! I never felt thirsty, so used to drink only occasionally. On this program, I am aware that when I feel wobbly, I need more water, even if I am not thirsty!
The beginnings of a cataract the eye doctor mentioned 2 and half years ago has cleared – no sign of it. I am sure that the Metabolic Balance Diet helped that happen! (Myra, you can quote me!!)
Another benefit, I am newly aware of – I also have managed to sleep through the night without getting up to pee, and bladder leakage is definitely improved. So I am making sure to drink enough water daily – two full glasses before breakfast, two afterwards, before lunch, and still more in the later afternoon…. I love that my metabolic balance® meal plan tells me what I CAN eat, not what I can’t eat. It was fun to go to the market and buy veggies that I might not necessarily get. I’m trying to include as wide a range of foods on the list as possible. It was also nice to see what a big pile of veggies I got to eat. I cooked the veggies in a little water and then made a thick puree for lunch with lots of spices. It was really good!
My systolic blood pressure was fluctuating 170 to 202, even with medication. In only two weeks on my metabolic balance® meal plan it has stabilized at 130. I cannot believe it myself. I lost 15lbs so far. My feet feel better and I am able to walk further. I am so happy and pleased.
There are 2 changes in my body that stand out since I have been doing my individualized Metabolic Balance Meal Plan:

For years I experienced flu-type symptoms that prevented me from exercising. Now, I can dance with out feeling ill. Myra is extremely meticulous in her search for just the right remedy. Myra Nissen is an amazing homeopath. I have been working with her for several months and I am amazed with the results. I had all but given up on homeopathy as I have been trying it on and off for years. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t and I never had any real luck with constitutional remedies at all. I went to see Myra and she gave me something to help with the death of my mom which helped instantaneously. It immediately took the edge off and I felt like was able to cope so much better. Pain
I had pain and was not feeling right. I am glad to have Myra’s open mind as she looks at more than what a client sees. She detected a problem and she was right. I am greatly improved.
My recovery has been amazing with your knowledgeable assistance. Today is one week after the hip surgery. I was able to stand to shower, am ready to start using a cane soon, able to prepare simple meals for myself, go up and down a few stairs unassisted. I seldom needed pain medications.

Thyroid
I have been coming to Myra since 2011 for thyroid – Hashimoto’s disease. My doctor wanted to put me on thyroid medication right away. He was convinced the Hashimoto’s disease in my body was so active that it would destroy thyroid function in a short period of time. I am so glad that I came to Myra because in 2 weeks of homeopathy & gemmotherapy not only has my thyroid function been restored but has been restored past the border line and is normal and this is the amazing thing. Travel Medicine
I was recently on a business trip in Thailand and woke up early one morning feeling sick. Within minutes I was having a full-blown episode of the shakes, vomiting, diarrhea, and vertigo.
