Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Typically, interested consumers purchase a subscription and receive a weekly box of produce.
Many times we don’t know what else is available or how to prepare unfamiliar foods. Often our tastes in food are limited to what we ate as children. Trying new foods or old foods prepared in new ways can be a delicious adventure for the entire family. Food box subscriptions and farmers markets are affordable ways to find locally grown food. Many provide easy, delicious recipes to inspire us to explore new foods. Many farms offer quality dairy products, meats and seafood.
