Myra Nissen To Present Research On Night Terrors At The California Homeopathic Medical Society’s Annual Conference

PUBLISHED PRESS RELEASE: Walnut Creek, Calif., DATE, 2013
Walnut Creek Board certified classical homeopath, Myra Nissen, announces that she will present her own research at The California Homeopathic Medical Society’s Annual Conference being held at Murrieta Hot Springs in Murrieta, California on May 18 and 19, 2013.

The conference will focus on the exploration of the use of homeopathic remedies in the field of emotional and mental disorders in children and adolescents. In keeping with that topic, Nissen’s presentation relates to a case study associated with children and night terrors.

The annual conference will concentrate on cured cases, supplemented by data on research done internationally, including that of the International Homeopathic Medical League (the LIGA or LMHI.) Founded in the 1920s, the LIGA maintains a database documenting cases demonstrating successful outcomes of emotional and mental difficulties in children and adolescents using homeopathy.

“It is extremely important that children, and adolescents, in particular, not be treated with harmful medication of any kind. Homeopathy is unquestionably one of the safest, natural and inexpensive medical disciplines available,” says Nissen. “It is well known that many of the conventional medical approaches may be addictive, and can cause serious side-effects and allergic reactions, and more.”

In addition to Nissen, other presenters at the conference will include Stuart H. Garber, D.C., Ph.D.; Richard Hiltner MD Dht; Ifeoma Ikenze MD; Shelley Keneipp MH DiHom; Richard Pitt CCH; Diane Schlesinger MD DiHOM; and Varda Wilensky CCH RSHom(NA).

ATTENDS THE 8TH ANNUAL JOINT AMERICAN HOMEOPATHIC CONFERENCE

At this meeting, Nissen also attended the annual board meeting of the North American Society of Homeopaths, of which she holds the position as association treasurer.
