Are Cell Phones Safe?

CELL PHONES & BRAIN TUMORS, A VALID CONCERN

Cell phones, cordless phones, wireless connections and other devices have made our lives easier. However, these devices emit electromagnetic fields (EMFs). There is growing evidence that exposure  to EMFs compromises health, and they are now being linked to brain tumors.

While you may not be able to eliminate the use of cell phones, here are 10 steps you can take to reduce and minimize exposure to EMFs:

1.  Use wired internet connections.

2.  Keep cells phones out of the bedroom.

3.  Limit childrens’ use of cell phones.

4.  Wait until the call is connected before putting your cell phone to your ear.

5.  Don’t keep your phone to your ear if you are on hold.

6.  Carry your phone away from your body instead of in a pocket or on a belt. Or use a protective pouch.

7.  Turn your phone off when not expecting a call.

9.  Use a cell phone protector, like the one shown from Premier Research Labs. Contact our office if you are interested in a cell phone protector or other EMF reduction solutions for home, computer, and major appliances. However there is some evidence that EMF protectors of this type don’t work. But there are other precautions you can take. Contact the office to learn more.

10. Keep your immune system healthy with proper nutrition and adequate rest.
