Homeopathy
Created over 200 years ago by physician Samuel Hahnemann,
homeopathy is the second most widely used medicinal treatment
in the world today, and it has helped thousands of
people attain optimal health. Mahatma Gandhi recognized
its powers, claiming that "homeopathy ... cures a larger
percentage of cases than any other method of treatment and
is beyond doubt safer and more economical and most complete
medical science."
Through the use of remedies, medicines that are scientifically
developed and perfectly matched to the client's symptoms,
the body is reminded of the route to better health.
Consultation
Your
initial homeopathic consultation will take two to three
hours, so please allow plenty of time. We will discuss your
current health and your family history, as well as your
sleep patterns, life experiences, and any other concerns
you may have.
What to expect
The initial consultation is where I have an opportunity
to learn about you. We will discuss your health and family
history. We will talk about your sleep patterns, your life
experiences, and any other concerns you may have.
Anticipate 3-6 follow-up appointments of half-an-hour to
forty-five minutes each. Follow-up appointments are needed
to determine how well the remedy is working and what, if
any, adjustments need to be made. Phone consultations are
available by appointment.
What to bring
There is one form you will need to complete before the
meeting. You can mail them in advanced or bring them to
the initial consultation. The
form can be downloaded (client
questionnaire)
or I can mail them to you. Additionally you may bring any
tests from the doctor, current medications, and supplements.
Remedies
After the consultation it may take several weeks to determine
the correct remedy for you. You will be notified of the
homeopathic remedy and how to obtain it. Usually you will
I order the remedy from a pharmacy that specializes in homeopathic
remedies. Sometimes the remedy may be available from a health
food store. Instructions for taking the remedy will be provided.
