Since the discovery and application of homeopathic remedies for the treatment of the sick, especially the use of those remedies in their potentized state one hundred fifty years ago, little else but ridicule has been given us by the world of medical science for our claims of subtle powers residing in the unseen side of nature.
Recently, however, a number of startling things have been revealed and given the public concerning the application of finer forces in the diagnosis and cure of disease. According to recent newspaper accounts, at the Mayo Clinic they have succeeded in making rapid and accurate diagnoses and differentiations of the common cold, flu and poliomyelitis by noting the behavior of the streptococcus germs placed in a magnetic field under a dark lense.
Experiments reported by the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine, December, 1936, by employing a vacuum tube microvolt meter for the measurement of bioelectric phenomena, “have brought out many interesting facts relating to the state of health in cells, tissues, organs and organisms. The experimenter claims that, every excess of action, every change in physical state of the protoplasm of any organ or of any area in the embryo, or in the egg, produces – it is believed – an electrical disturbance. These currents probably play a larger part in the determination or rates of growth, in the orientation or polarization of the cells and the differentiation of the organism, in its polarity, in other words than has supposed. Discovery of the fact that ultra-microscopic organisms carry electrical charges of definite polarities thereby enabling the investigator to identify toxemias of infinitesimal quantities together with the recognition of the bioelectric phenomena involved in the processes of all living things may easily explain part of the modus operandi of highly potentized homeopathic remedies.
Dr. Guy Stearns and others have demonstrated that homeopathic remedies are electro-magnetic forces consisting of oscillatory frequencies equal to those of magnetism which is said to average as high as 18,000,000,000,000,000,000 (18×1018) oscillations per second.
Potencies are likewise of definite polarities identified in accordance .. the drug substance employed. They, the potencies, can impart their properties to an unbelievably larger amount of fluid, water or alcohol by diffusion, rendering those substance equally active in magnetic power to themselves. Thus a very small amount of the infinitesimal substance introduced into the living body rapidly spreads throughout its whole fluid contents from the deepest centers to the outermost parts harmonizing disturbed vibratory rates in the organism by producing a state of resonance in the body circuits, When the electro magnetic circuits or currents of the body are established in order, a balanced orderly chemical activity prevails; and while said orderly chemical processes are maintained, the processes of growth and repair ultimate in normal cell development histology. When these processes are reversed from center to circumference, first a change in the electromagnetic currents of the organism takes place immediately followed by change of body chemistry soon followed by tissue or end changes to ultimate in pathology,
More and more clinical evidence is increasing from various sources of the power of highly potentized remedies in the eradication of disease and the establishment and maintenance of health.
We need cite only the experiments and claims of Beir of Germany and his irritational theory of disease and its cure by attenuated drugs, Also the more recent experiments of McDonald of England and his hydration theory of disease and its cure where potencies ranging up to the 30th are used to effect definite and satisfactory cures, Both these scientists have acknowledged the truth and efficacy of homeopathic fundamentals. All of which brings vividly to our minds those soul-stirring words of the poet:
Truth crushed to earth, will rise again,
The eternal years of God are hers
Error, stung writhes in pain,
And dies amidst her worshipers.
