Metabolic Balance Makes Food Shopping Simple

Most of us are aware that to eat better we need to shop in the grocery store selecting foods from the aisles along the perimeter of the store. This is where one typically finds healthier, fresh, whole foods. Avoid the middle aisles where the processed and packaged foods tend to be. More wise advice is to stick to ingredients whose names you recognize and can pronounce. The simpler the ingredients, the better off you are.

WHAT ARE THE BEST FOODS?
Even with this knowledge many are still confused about what is good to eat. Wandering around the store, picking up items, examining them, and putting them down, wondering: What are the best fruits, meats, fish, cheeses, or vegetables for me? Is soy right and good to eat? What about wheat? Isn’t red meat bad? Aren’t eggs taboo? And what is the best oil to cook with?

“I was apprehensive about starting Metabolic Balance thinking it would be too complicated, time consuming and expensive. I quickly found it to be simple as it took the guesswork out of what to eat and what to buy at the grocery store. It was also less time consuming not only because of the simplicity, but also because it made me more organized in my kitchen and in my day-to-day life. I have also found it to be less-expensive to be on MB because I am wasting less to almost no food and I eat and use up everything I buy.” ~ Jennie D., Vallejo, CA (Wife and mother of 3, ages 6, 3 & 1.)
