In our little slice of paradise in Pleasant Hill, the Sugi Garden is the center of life. We have been gardening organically on our property for 13 years and know that it was also pesticide-free for 10 years before we came. We grow as large a variety of crops as possible to create a harmonious environment for all forms of life in the garden. What nourishes the plants also feeds us. Each season brings an abundance of interesting activities. We are often struck by the value of stepping out into the garden to see what will be revealed.
For us it is a healthy lifestyle that solicits harmony within our family and in our interactions with others. We enjoy sharing this quality of life with others through the sale of our extra garden produce and instruction in cooking with fresh, wholesome ingredients. Attitudes that reflect our approach are called the Sugi Way and are also taught as part of our work, whether it is learned in a class on cooking, movement, or energetic healing methods. We have a blog that will take you on the journey of the discoveries we make in the garden as the seasons unfold. Fun recipes, colorful photos, and garden wisdom are shared. We offer a weekly bulletin delineating the fresh produce and food-related specials that are available through Sugi Garden each week. Each bulletin includes valuable information about classes, as wells as how to care for your produce and recipes to enjoy at home.
I have partnered with Sugi to bring you produce and classes to help clients on their Metabolic Balance Journey. ~ Myra
